I grew up in Shenyang, China, have lived in Hungary and Australia, and spent much of my life backpacking off the beaten path. My wandering shaped my personality, fostered my pursuit of various types of art, and provided the subject matter for my first published photographs.

As an image maker, I am emotionally perceptive and appreciate drawing out the subtle beauty of things. My photographic work aspires to honestly document emotions. Portraiture allows me to do both and lets me record the amazing ways that people shine.

When I became a mom, my photography became even more meaningful. The loving moments with my family are my most precious possessions. The photographs are physical objects that return me to that treasured past.
